Welcome to Prom

There's something magical about your ball dress. Like a lover, you'll spend forever looking for the "one" or, if you're like Eugie Boyd, you'll find the one over and over again.

Eugie (pronounced U-G) is your classic Wellington lass, ozzing personal style, confidence and a flare for the finer things (yes, I do mean Juicy Couture.) She's rarely seen without her Carrie Bradshaw-esque locks bouncing in the welly winds or a well coordinated outfit that sits borderline iconic. She's a creative thinker known for her intricate knits and patterns but perhaps she should be more well known for her ball dress collection?

Finding out someone owns 15 ball dresses leaves you in a bit of turmoil - is that okay? Can one person own that many ball gowns? Should I investigate this crime scene? Absolutely.

With all your ball hype teasing up like prom girl hair I thought it was in your best interest that I deliver a pre prom look-book to get you all inspired. It's no longer about the frou-frou, it's about the fun. Wear a jumpsuit, velvet joggers or a retro number you picked up for a $5 down the road, accessorise as required - buy your own tiara because this year you're your own queen.

All that glitters is gold and with these looks on Eugie - I'm sold. If anyones going to be prom date, I know who I want it to be. Here's six sizzling looks to make you feel hella snazzy on your special night:
